Most well-known in the role of Nancy Wheeler on the Netflix Horror Sci-Fi series Stranger Things, she is also an actress. She also starred as Chloe Lake, in Based on a True Story, an action-comedy by Peacock, and in Yes, God, Yes Velvet Buzzsaw Things Heard & Seen, and the film Based on a True Story. Stranger Things, Netflix's 2016 horror-drama series, gave her her big break. Dyer together with other members of the Stranger Things cast won the Outstanding Ensemble Performance in Drama Series award at the Screen Actors Guild Awards on Jan. 29, 2017. Dyer has now described herself as spiritual instead of theological. Natalia Dyer is the best couple to emerge from Upside Down. The pair were a couple after a meeting on Stranger Things, where they were the formidable duo of girlfriend and boyfriend Nancy Wheeler and Jonathan Byers.
